By Marsha King The bishop also filed a complaint against the Rev. Karen Dammann, the previous pastor at Woodland Park, who coincidentally announced early in the year that she is a lesbian. As a result, Dammann also could lose or keep her pastor status. She is now working on a special project for the church from her home in Massachusetts, while the matter is being resolved. It might be possible to reconcile the complaints without trials, said the Rev. Elaine Stanovsky, district superintendent of the denomination's Puget Sound district.
