| Last week's
article (Mom
and Apple Pie) linked you to a "front-page"
article in the New York Times that would lead the average reader to
believe that America has had it with the homophobic attitude of the Boy
Scouts of America.
As I mentioned last week, this front-page article was an example of a homosexual advocate journalist who is trying to CREATE news, not report it. Clearly, this journalist was attempting to sway public opinion by making the reader believe that if he/she didn't hate the Boy Scouts, then the reader was out-of-touch with the American populace. Well, guess what, The New York Times had to print a correction to retract much of the "facts" presented in the article. I can't find the correction on The New York Times website (gee, what a surprise), but another news source that DID see the Times' correction buried in the middle of the print edition; read it for yourself. Yet, another Internet news source (World Net Daily) has investigated the article ran by the New York Times last week that has now been clearly shown as purely unadulterated propaganda which included unsubstantiated information, biased opinion, and outright lies by one of the nation's most widely circulated newspapers. Note that there is STILL no reference on this web page to the dramatic retraction that the Times made when forced to admit corrections to this sorry excuse for a news article. This means that homosexual activist organizations will continue to link its readers to this web page of the New York Times which is just "sitting out there" professing to inaccuracies and outright lies. This is the perfect example, completely out in the open, as to why cultural conservatives take issue with the mass media when it sets out to MAKE public opinion "in its own image" instead of sticking to reporting the news. =============== Also, you might find this related article of interest. |
